The Work Decision-Making Competence Index (WDMCI) is designed to help managers understand and better develop their decision-making capabilities. The WDMCI is a valid and reliable tool that evaluates candidates on 4 well-known dimensions that directly influence work performance, namely their ability to:

  1. Be appropriately confident (neither under- nor overconfident)
  2. Stay objective (not being biased by the way information is presented/framed)
  3. Apply appropriate decision rules
  4. Take appropriate risk (neither too much nor too little)

The WDMCI is an online assessment and takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. Upon completion, users are provided with results relative to the 4 dimensions noted above, which allows candidates to create customized action plans for their professional development.
